A Vital Contribution For Our Future

First, I want to thank all the members who attended our Annual General Assembly (AGA) in April 2025. During the event, important decisions were made, including those concerning membership dues.

It's worth remembering that the AGA is our association's most important meeting. It's where all members are invited to participate in the life of the association by voting on the topics discussed. In short, members make the decisions.

To ensure our association's financial stability, two major adjustments were voted on and will come into effect:

1. Exceptional Special Dues for 2025: $50

To address a projected budget deficit for 2025, due to a decrease in anticipated revenue, the general assembly approved a one-time special contribution of $50.

This exceptional contribution is essential to strengthen available funds and support the association during this transition period. A dues notice will be sent on July 1st, and you'll have until the end of the year to make the payment.

2. Increase in Union Dues Starting 2026

Effective 2026, union dues will be increased. This measure, also adopted at the AGA, aims to ensure long-term financial stability. Details are available on our website.

It's also important to remember that dues haven't been indexed for five years, despite the increase in all costs affecting us. This increase is therefore necessary to maintain the quality of our services and guarantee our activities.

These decisions, while difficult, were made in the collective interest. They aim to protect the future of our association and allow us to continue representing and supporting you effectively.
