Youth Committee and Green Sets Committee: Committing to the Future!

AQTIS 514 IATSE is relaunching its Youth Committee and continuing the work of the Green Sets Committee. Two spaces driven by the next generation, two levers for transforming our industry, and one common goal: to build a more just, sustainable, and inclusive future for Quebec's audiovisual technicians.

Why Participate?

These committees were established to learn, organize, and act together. Whether you are at the start of your career or already involved in association life, you will find a springboard to grow and contribute to concrete change.

What we want to build with you:

• A more inclusive, informed, and engaged culture in our industry;

• Opportunities for knowledge transfer and mentorship;

• Leadership development;

• Concrete initiatives on important issues:

  • working conditions;

  • health and safety;

  • diversity and equity;

  • training;

  • environment and eco-responsibility on sets.

Who Can Participate?

• The Youth Committee is open to members 35 years of age and under, in line with IATSE and FTQ guidelines.

• The Green Sets Committee is open to all members who wish to contribute to more sustainable practices in our industry.

Together, the next generation and eco-responsible practices are inseparable: they are what will guarantee the sustainability of our industry.
