OODHV ACT – Drivers Section

Length : 6 hours

ABOUT

This training is intended for drivers of heavy vehicles (i.e., a vehicle weighing more than 4500 kg, commonly called a "cube") and deals with the obligations and responsibilities of the driver.
It is intended for all persons having the possibility of driving a heavy vehicle as part of their duties, mainly persons from the following departments: props, canteen, camera, construction, costumes, set, lighting, special effects, logistics, stagehand, greens, sound, transportation.

OBJECTIVES

The skills to be acquired are theoretical and will be validated by a test:

  1. Perform the pre-departure check;
  2. Maintain a log book of hours driven;
  3. Follow the rules for heavy vehicles.

PREREQUISITES

Have a driver’s licence and be member.
Have taken the initiation to community life course
