This training is for drivers of heavy vehicles (i.e. vehicles weighing more than 4,500 kg, commonly known as cube trucks). It deals specifically with one topic: vehicle inspection.

This is a practical training session.

It is for anyone who may have to drive a heavy vehicle in the course of their duties, mainly workers in the following departments: props, craft, camera, construction, costumes, decoration, lighting, special effects, logistics, grips, greens, sound, transportation.

OBJECTIVES

After completing the course, participants will be tested on the following:

1. WHAT to check on a vehicle
2. HOW to document the inspection
3. WHAT rules to apply if an irregularity is found

PReREQUISites

Have a driver’s licence.
Be a member of AQTIS 514 IATSE
Have completed PECVL Law - Drivers or OODVH Act - Managers.
Have taken the initiation to community life course

The number of participants allowed in each course is limited. On the day of the course, we will not admit any participants who have not paid for it in advance.
