Women in Industry Committee

The Women in Industry Committee was created to work on issues facing women and support their presence in the industry and in AQTIS 514 IATSE.

List of main issues:

• The unique position of women in our industry
• Gender equity
• Work-life balance
• Promoting women in the industry
• Member awareness and training
• Combatting harassment and discrimination

Roles and responsibilities:

• Identify problematic or discriminatory situations
• Promote inclusion and aim for representation that reflects our society
• Create (or support the creation of) an information campaign
• Recommend to the Executive concrete actions that address these challenges
