Departure of Kim Rivard, Director of Labor Relations

RELEASE TO MEMBERS
It is with great sadness that we must announce the departure of our Director of Labor Relations, Kim Rivard. For almost two years, Kim has done a remarkable job in preparing and negotiating collective agreements with the AQPM, while restructuring the labor relations department to make it more member-focused and their needs.
She has been able to lead sensitive issues such as harassment in the wake of #metoo, represent the members whose rights were wronged, reform the approach to health and safety at work, negotiate with producers, ensure the grievances to be adequately defended before the authorities.
Rigorous, always listening to the members and in solutions mode, she has worked tirelessly to advance the issues that we hold dearly. She stood up for the technicians she represented in a dignified and respectful way.
Kim decided to return to the world of consulting. We respect her choice, but we will miss her and we want to thank her from the bottom of our heart for having contributed so much to the development of AQTIS.
Should you have any question on your working conditions, you can still refer to your assigned advisor.
