Quebec audiovisual production in 2021-2022

On September 14, 2023, the Observatoire de la culture et des communications du Québec released the Profil de l'industrie audiovisuelle au Québec - édition 2023, in collaboration with AQTIS 514 IATSE, AQPM, ARRQ, GCR, SARTEC, Table de concertation de l'industrie du cinéma et de la télévision de la Capitale-Nationale and UDA.

Despite the industry's current situation and challenges, we would like to emphasize that the 2021-2022 period was marked by the achievement of a new peak. The total value of audiovisual production increased by 25% over the previous year, reaching a total of $2.8 billion.
