2026 AGA - Election Results and Next Steps

Hello everyone,

Following the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of AQTIS 514 IATSE, which took place on April 26, 2026, we would like to thank all the members who participated.

Your presence, your attentiveness, and the quality of the discussions helped make this assembly both constructive and mobilizing. The AGA is an important annual event in the life of our association. It serves to inform you about ongoing projects and industry realities. This meeting also allows you to weigh in on decisions that have a direct impact on your professional life and the future of your union.

At the end of the assembly, the election results were unveiled, following the sector-based voting process held from April 9 to 23, 2026.

We wish a warm welcome to the new Vice-Presidents:

- Jean-Philippe Savard

We would also like to welcome those who were elected by acclamation as directors for the American Productions sector:

• Charles (Goliath) Marcotte

• Marie-Félixe Roy

Note that one director position for the Fictions and Advertising sector remains vacant. In accordance with Article 7.10 of our bylaws, the Executive Committee will reach out to the sector to propose a candidate to fill this position. If more than one candidacy is submitted, a vote will be held. A communication regarding this matter will be sent to the relevant members shortly.
