The purpose of this course is to familiarize the participants with the basic knowledge and the vocabulary used by a team of stagehands. The participants will also learn the safety concepts essential to the practice of this profession and will be trained with all of the grips used on set.
Target professions
Anyone who wants to become a stagehand.
Mandatory course to obtain recognition as a stagehand with AQTIS 514 IATSE (new and reclassified members).
Prerequisites
Have taken the course “Initiation to community life” and already be a member of AQTIS 514 IATSE.

The number of participants allowed in each course is limited. On the day of the course, we will not admit any participants who have not paid for it in advance.
IMPORTANT: Please note that safety shoes must be worn to participate in training. Failure to do so may result in the trainer refusing to accept you, and you will be considered absent without a valid reason, subject to a $100 charge as per our cancellation policy.
