Ppe distribution

Since June 4, 2024, all AQTIS 514 IATSE members, regardless of their sector (American productions, fiction, advertising, etc.), have been entitled to receive the personal protective equipment (PPE) required for their work.

To get the PPE, you must:

• Be a recognized member or a member awaiting recognition;
• Have a position that requires the PPE in question;
• Have completed the necessary training;
• Not already have the requested PPE, unless it has reached the end of its useful life or has been damaged.

The PPE is distributed at our premises.
 
PLACE: Place Chassé (2575 place Chassé, Montreal, QC, H1Y 2C3)

OPENING HOURS:

Tuesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Thursdays, noon to 4 p.m.

Members working on American productions will receive the PPE at their usual workplace, e.g. the set or workshop.

All mandatory trainings to obtain a PPE are offered by the association. Click here to find out more and to register.

For example, you need to follow:

• Fall protection to receive a harness and lanyard.
• Trafic signaler to receive a fluorescent jacket, pants and helmet.
