Registration
If you are interested in a course, please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot.N.B.: If the number of registrations for a course is too low, we may have to cancel or postpone it.
Registration requests are processed on business days, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Health and safety training courses are reserved for members, as is the “Leading a Team” course. Other training courses are open to non-members, provided they have completed the “Introduction to Association Life” course beforehand. Please note that members are given priority for registration.

Course fees must be paid in full at registration. Only individuals who have paid for a course will be allowed to attend.

Cancellation Policy – Revised March 27, 2026

Important: Obtaining an AQTIS 514 IATSE contract is not a valid reason for a no-cost cancellation.
AQTIS 514 IATSE reserves the right to cancel a training session due to insufficient enrollment. You will then receive a full refund, unless you wish to register for another available date.
Business days: Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
A cancellation request received after 5 p.m. on a weekday is considered a request for the following business day. A cancellation request received on a weekend or holiday is considered a request for the following business day.
Cancellation Terms
If an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending your training, you may receive a refund under the following terms:
Cancellation Procedures (Paid Training):
Six (6) business days or more before the start of the training:
- Full refund*.
Between five (5) and three (3) business days before the start of the training:
- 50% refund of the fee paid at registration*
- Exception: Full refund with medical justification*
Two (2) business days or less before the start of the training:
- No refund
- Exception: Full refund with medical justification*
Absence from the training:
- Any delay of more than 15 minutes or failure to sign the attendance sheets for each half-day session is considered an absence.
- Exception: Full refund with medical justification*
Cancellation Procedures (Free Training):
Six (6) business days or more before the start of the training:
- Cancellation without penalty.
Five (5) business days or less before the start of the training:
- $100 cancellation fee
- Exception: No fees applied with medical justification
Absence from the training:
- $100 cancellation fee
- Any delay of more than 15 minutes or failure to sign the attendance sheets for each half-day session is considered an absence.
- Exception: No fees applied with medical justification
Cancellation procedures (self-paced online training):
Failure to participate in all or part of the training:
You have three months to complete a self-paced online training course starting from the date the training was made available. After this period :
- The training will be removed, and you will need to submit a new registration request.
- If you have started the course: a $100 fee will be charged
*Refunds are issued by mail-order check to the address on file. Please note that it may take several weeks to process your request and send the check.
A certificate of participation, a valid certification, or a digital or physical competency card will be issued to you at the end of each training session.
Depending on the situation, it will be sent to you:
Either in your personal account on the website (under “My Documents”);
Or by the trainer at the end of the training;
Or by email or regular mail within days or weeks of the training (by the training organization or AQTIS 514 IATSE)..
